Stray (sthlm) is a Stockholm based band. They live in different suburbs around Swedens capital and come together every now and then to deal with their supressed anger. During the swedish winter they rehearse in a freezer just to make everyone in the band feel the seriousness and meaningfulness of what they do. Frontman Robert claims to have lost both arms during the winter of '06 in this freezing hellhole of pain and death but states that he's gotten better since then.

    The band never got together by fate or willpower of natural forces like every other band in this world but rather got built over time starting with Robert getting contacted by management Ayam in 2002 with promises of riches and jetplanes and whatnot. Supposed to create a showcase grungeact with Ayam management Robert brought good friend Patrik (bad-ass bassriff inventive)  and got paired with metalhead Tony Baioni, former drummer of Blowsight. They gigged a couple of times, got pissed at eachother even more times and finally separated leaving Patrik and Robert without Drummer.

    A few acoustic shows followed and the band got tired of not being more than a 2-piece and so kept their eyes open wide for drummers and guitarists but none they tried out fitted either musically or mentally until they got hold of friends and family Ioannis Sadiktsis and Paul Boman to complete the circle. Finally a band again they made two demos "Only the good ghost, oh heaven!" - 2006 and "Necromancer" - 2006/2007. Shortly after completing the recordings and eager to play some shows guitarist Ioannis was forced to take his life seriously and left the band in a haste.

    On 26:th february they warmly welcome old friend Ola as their new guitarhero and judging from the first rehearsal with this good young man we can easily state that the circle is complete again and rolling like a damn freightrain on the tracks of musical exploration and pushing themselves to make music they proudly can call their own.
